On Yavin Scammer Fighter on Why He Hates Crypto Scams

Many people feel driven to right wrongs in our world, and On Yavin scammer fighter is no different. Since launching his business Cointelligence in 2017, he’s been dedicated to identifying and calling out scams in the cryptocurrency and blockchain industry.

“I honestly believe that this technology will be the biggest revolution we’ve ever seen,” says On Yavin, scam fighter and CEO of Cointelligence. “There are so many possibilities for how the blockchain and crypto can improve peoples’ lives. So it makes me really mad that some people look at it and their only thought is ‘How can I use this to scam people out of their money?’”

On Yavin and the Cointelligence team have identified and reported on many different kinds of crypto scams in the past couple of years, from ICO exit schemes to fraudulent crypto exchanges to a romance scam that trolled dating apps for victims.

“The great thing is that the crypto community is good about calling out scams and teaching others how to spot them,” says On. “However, it seems like every time we defeat one method of scamming, they just come up with a new one!”

On Yavin scammer fighter is not discouraged, however. Even when scammers try to get him banned from events or troll his social media posts, he just feels encouraged. “The scammers wouldn’t fight back like this if they weren’t scared,” he says.

And he doesn’t fight alone. There are many others in the crypto and blockchain industry who watch for and report on scams. Together, they work to clean up the industry, out the scammers, and make the crypto community a safer place for new people. It’s an important reminder that anyone can step up and speak up when they see something wrong in the world.
